Stockton is a small charming NJ town on the Delaware River, located about 4 miles north of Lambertville and New Hope on NJ Route 29. Stockton is a tiny place with some of the best restaurants in Hunterdon and Bucks County.

Atrio Cafe is Now Closed
Atrio Cafe is now closed. (Update 02-07-2007) This small intimate BYOB restaurant that offered an eclectic contemporary menu will be missed by all of it's loyal customers.

Centre Bridge Inn
This historic Bucks County Inn serves more of a traditional menu with seafood and steaks. They describe their food as "intercontinental cuisine". The Centre Bridge offers lodging and a full service bar with cocktails, wine and beer. The restaurant offers romantic alfresco dining along the Delaware River. Dilly's Corner
Dilly's is a "Classic All American Hot Dog Stand" that is a Bucks County institution. In season they are always busy. Dillys offers outdoor dining on picnic tables (it's not alfresco dining if you serve hot dogs). Dilly's is most famous for it's Dilly Dogs (1/7 pound hot dogs with grilled onions and peppers and french fries), but also serves hamburgers, french fries, milkshakes and soft serve ice cream. They are open Tuesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner, March through November each year.

Errico's Market
Local's favorite for breakfast and lunch, Errico's is located in an old Railroad Station. They offer baked goods, coffee, sandwiches, fried chicken, salads and desserts. They are open 7 days a week.

Meils Restaurant
The area's original funky cafe. Meils is located in an old gas station in the center of Stockton NJ. Meils is a local institution with a loyal following. The restaurant is filled with artwork from local artists and offers outdoor dining in season. Meil's is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. The Stockton Inn
Historic Inn established in 1710 serving a lunch and tavern menu with soups, sandwiches, burgers and appetizers. The dinner menu offers seafood, steaks, lamb, chicken and pasta. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner. The tavern offers cocktails, wine and beer. The Stockton Inn offers some of the best alfresco dining in the area on their garden patio. The restaurant offers banquet facilities for private and corporate parties and weddings, and features live entertainment on special occassions.

Stockton NJ Area Dining: Rosemont

Rosemont New Jersey is a tiny picturesque village hidden away on a high ridge above Stockton surrounded by the farms of Hunterdon County.

Rosemont is a short 2 mile drive north of Stockton, up Route 29, bear right at the curve, up Hunterdon County Route 519, and up the hill.





The Cafe at Rosemont
The Cafe is Rosemont's only restaurant but has a loyal following of locals who drive a good distance to eat here on a regular basis. The Cafe is housed in an old Victorian home at the intersection of two rural county roads. The place feels like an old country store and like Grandma's house at the same time. The food and the atmosphere is homey and comfey without being too country or cute. The menu is definately contemporary as is the artwork from local artists that change in monthly feature exhibitions. The Cafe is open for lunch Tuesday through Sunday, dinner Wednesday through Sunday and brunch on Saturday and Sunday. The Cafe serves an international menu every Wednesday night, every week traveling to a different country.

Lumberville Pennsylvania is a tiny village located on the edge of the Delaware River in Eastern Bucks County.

Lumberville is a short 4 mile drive north of Stockton, across the bridge and take River Road to the right.





Black Bass Hotel
The Black Bass is one of the oldest surviving businesses in the region, in operation since the mid-1700's. This fine dining restaurant, located right on the Delaware River is a popular destination for romantic dinners. The Black serves lunch and dinner 7 days a week and hosts a Sunday Champagne Brunch that is a Bucks County tradition. The restaurant's menu is creative and contemporary in the style of New American cuisine. The Black Bass has a full service bar and serves wine, cocktails and beer. They host luncheons, banquets, private parties and weddings.

Cuttalossa Inn
The Cuttalossa Inn is a fine dining restaurant with a traditional American menu in a stunning setting. The Cuttaloosa offers indoor and alfresco dining. The main building of the restaurant was built in 1758 and the site was once a working lumber mill. They offer facilities for private parties and weddings. They offer a full service bar with wine, cocktails and beer. The Cuttaloosa features a waterfall on the property which is a favorite site for wedding and party photos.
