A picture is worth a thousand words they say, and this one is a darned good example of that. When any of us is seeking an escape from city life, it is what is pictured above that we are in some sense looking for. We are seeking out romantic places in the country that remind us of a simpler time and help us to restore ourselves and our sense of peace.
Our entire region is filled with sights like this one. Bucks County is well known for being a beautiful place, but Hunterdon County has it's own treasures like this one: Prallsville Mills in Stockton NJ on the Delaware River, a few minutes north of New Hope.
