The Hunterdon Museum of Art was founded in 1952 by an enthusiastic group of local citizens. It hosts exhibitions and art education programs throughout the year and is a centerpiece of Clinton and Hunterdon County NJ Culture.
The building sits on the Raritan River across from the Red Mill Museum and in front of a canoe and kayak company in the heart of Clinton's historic district. The facilities of the museum can be rented for private parties and weddings.
The museum host a national print exhibition annually and sponsors purchase prizes that add to the museum's permanent collection.
