Clinton's Red Mill Museum was built in 1810 as a wool mill. It is part of an entire complex of 12 exhibit filled buildings known as Red Mill Museum Village. Other buildings include the Mulligan Quarry, the Bunker Hill Schoolhouse.
The waterfalls shown in the photo to the left are 200 feet wide. You can get a better idea of their size from the panorama at the top of the page. This site is one of the most photographed sites in New Jersey and the United States.
The grounds of the museum can be rented for private parties and weddings. Indoor meeting space is also available and there is a gift shop at the museum. All proceeds go towards the preservation of the mill.
