Default Cheap Vacation Packages

My boyfriend and I are planning a vacation with his daughters this summer to Disney World and trying to find a good deal on a flight and hotel package. I went to Expedia's site and found a flight and hotel package for 481 per person. The hotel which is the Legacy Grand Hotel & Suites does provide shuttle service to Disney World, Sea World and Universal Studios. I like Expedia I find the best deals on flights at the last minute.

I usually go online and check different travel packages then go to my travel agent and see if they can work me a better deal. By going online I have some idea what it is going to cost me.

Jenbear,

Expedia, Travelocity and others are great for doing the research on because their search and compare technology is so advanced. I use them all the time for this, but when I decide which airline I want for my flight, I go directly to the airline site to make my reservations. This has saved me the booking fees that those services charge the airlines, and it very often has given me more choices on flights and seating choices than were available on Expedia and Travelocity.

Recently I found a great price for my flight to Atlanta and waited for a few hours to talk to my friends that were traveling with me. Well, when I went back to book the flight, I was told that the flight was totally sold out and that I would have to pay another $100.00 per ticket for any flight that day. I was very discouraged and I almost gave up. I decided to do what a friend had suggested and check the airline's website and to my amazement, the original flight at the great price that I found earlier was still available but on sale for $20.00 cheaper than the booking site had it for.

I hope this helps and good luck with your booking and your trip,
FT

Jenbear that is a one great price on that package. I would grab it before they change the price because of the gas prices going up so fast.

Does that price include charges for checking you bags, and other things that used to be free?
