Usually when I go to Dallas I o visit friends and they take me out to the places they like. This time I am heading there on my own for a wedding and I will have three kids with me, they are a little older and know how to behave in restuarants, but I am in need of some good family friendly places for the four of us.

Have you checked out Tripadvisor.com and their feature on Dallas Restaurants? They often can be a good starting point to find good restaurants. I know they are a competitor to Frenchtowner.com and our forums, but I want to help you find the best sources, not just keep you all to myself. Also you can check Chowhound.com and their bulletin board postings on Food in Dallas Texas.

Oh, I forgot about Chowhound. We are heading out Thursday night Friday morning hopefully so I will browse more after we check into our hotel. Have a few nights of dining that I am going to need to plan!
