I remember going here several times when I was a kid as a stop on road trips. The indoor theme park was always a fun thing to do as a break. Nowadays it does not seem as fun, but it certainly is an overwhelming place to go shopping.

This is one of those places I've alreays read/heard about and wanted to visit - it just sounds so cool!

I didn't even know it was still in business! Do you think the economy might have an effect on it?

I remember there were large malls all over the place, here, none like Mall of America, of course. They slowly closed because people started shopping online.

Of course, with an amusement park inside, Mall of America offers a lot more entertainment than most malls.

It is certainly still in business and I do not think it is going anywhere anytime soon. It offers way more than just shopping with the amusement park and plenty of other entertainment besides shopping.

If the general concept is like any other mall, there shouldn't be a problem. If one stroe goes out of buisness, there is another one ready to take its place.
