Default Favorite Coffee

What is your favorite coffee? Who makes it? Name the brand, the type of coffee bean, the variety, where you buy it, anything.

In our area we have a lot of small specialty coffee companies that do their own roasting. Our coffee shop in town mixes their own special blends with nuts and dried fruits. Maybe you make your own blends or roast your own. Tell us about it.

You might have discovered a great bargain coffee with a bold rich flavor at the grocery store. Tell us about it. Or it might be one of the better known brands that you just feel is the best.

Don't everyone laugh at once!! I would rather have plain ole Maxwell House or
Folger's!! (buy at Wal*Mart) We have even used the premium Wal*Mart brand with good
results. I love coffee, so brand is not a biggie..INSTANT makes me nauseous!

Lana,

How much is yours per pound? We buy a generic brand of canned ground 100 % Columbian Coffee from Wegmans that is really cheap and mix it with a gourmet coffee called Dead Man's Dare. This dark, rich and bold coffee is a great strong blend from a place called Homestead Coffee Roasters (see their website here) in Upper Black Eddy, Pennsylvania, just across the Delaware River from us in Bucks County. I believe we paid about 7.99 for the 12 oz bag. It is the same price from them direct or at our local grocery store, so I think they do wholesale.

FT

Default My Favorite

My favorite coffee is Gevalia. It is the finest ground coffee I've ever seen. I love the taste of it. My favorite of their specialty flavored coffees is Pecan something.....I've forgotten the rest of it's name. It's one of their seasonal specials.

I usually drink starbucks although I've tried coffee roasted by local companies that were okay.
My favorite at this point is storyville coffee, (Storyville.com).
Their coffee is fresh roasted and they believe that coffee loses it flavor over time so they send out fresh coffee \every 2 weeks. That coffee had amazing flavor.
I'd like to try boca java coffee (Boca Java Gourmet Coffee, Gourmet Tea, Coffee Blends, Coffee) I've heard it is good.

I think I am still searching for that perfect coffee and enjoying every delicious cup along the way.
