I guess mock versions of "bad" foods are still legal. A TV program that talked about the ban on Foie Gras gave the recipe on how to make something that was its equivalent. It used chicken livers and added something like a pound of butter along with spices and then it was baked.
The woman making it said that it was just as great tasting as the real thing. I was so sick at the thought of chicken livers mixed with butter that I was too woozy to listen to much more about it. I can find the recipe if anyone is interested.
I am getting to the age when I can't eat something that I know is bad for me without getting sick, thinking that I am making myself sick by eating the food.
Well, at least the people who want foie gras on their hot dogs can have it. Heaven help their arteries.
