I just got home from doing some errands to find a marvelous surprise in my email box. This is an incredible opportunity for any foodie in New Jersey or New York. Act fast everyone!

I write to you on behalf of A&E. We are doing a cooking show with chef Rocco DiSpirito, and we're looking for people in the New York/New Jersey area who would like to cook with Rocco. Celebrity chef and author Rocco DiSpirito wants to cook with YOU in YOUR KITCHEN! If you are planning an important meal or just want to share a significant moment over food, then A&E’s new show “Rocco to the Rescue!” (working title) wants to help.

Invite Rocco into your kitchen, and he will teach you what to cook, where to find the ingredients and how to prepare the ideal meal for your extra special occasion. Are you cooking for your first housewarming? A soldier’s homecoming? A very special birthday, anniversary or reunion? Are you going to propose marriage or make an announcement? Do you need to impress someone, thank someone, or tell someone that you’re sorry?

I think it's outrageous! I couldn't believe they contacted little ole me. They told me great things would happen if I changed my thought patterns, and concentrated on sending out loving, good energy, but I didn't expect results that fast!

LOL..you are funny, FT!! I bet you do that all the time anyway..
or at least TRY to!! Do you have any chefs or excellent cooks
on FT that you will recommend? What about you? You can cook!

My expertise really is in comfort food not in gourmet dinners. I appreciate fine dining, but I can't deliver it. My best dish right now is a bunless burger that is more of a salad with a grilled hamburger on top. It is my way of trying to eat a little healthier.

Also, having a chef over for dinner is one thing, but having a whole television crew over to cook at my house ...... give me a few years while I redecorate and knock out a few walls and install new lighting and ............. and ..................

I don't think I can do this in this lifetime, maybe next?

Wish I lived in the city for a day. They did something with another personality a while back in Chicago as part of a charity auction. My mom was outbid in the silent auction by five dollars.

How cool!!!! I am so jealous. When is he coming to Colorado?

Of course I would have to get my hair dones, nails...maybe a whole day at the spa.......LOL!
