Default Desserts

Dessert we know we shouldn't eat it but we always save room for it, I know I do. It is my one indulgence that I look forward to after a stressful day a work. I love cheese cake I always keep it in my refrigerator. I love it with ffresh strawberries on top or choclate syrup drizzed on it.

I agree, dessert is the most important part of a meal!

I have heard some people say that they always eat dessert first. That way they know that there is always room for it.

I am not one of those people though. Even as a little kid I always got a little sick when I'd eat anything sweet. I can usually really enjoy that first spoonful, but after that there is only diminishing returns.

I suppose that sweets making me a little nauseous was a hint that I would be a diabetic later on in life. It never stopped me from eating desserts, but it did change what I considered to be dessert worthy.

I always look forward to a really special fruit salad for my dessert. If I am the one doing the shopping that week, you can be certain that I will buy the best looking fruit and make a fantastic dessert with the fruit as a base. I might add a plain cake or something to it, but a pretty fruit dessert is what calls to me now. And call it does!

I am also a cheesecake fan, i have even made my own on occasion.

I also love fresh strawberries, oh, and those icecream cakes that are in the freezer section at the supermarket, and allpe pie with custard.

Saying that it is very rare that we have a pudding, only if we have guests or as a treat.

I love cheesecake too. Another favourite of mine is key lime pie.

Also, there's a store in the neighbourhood that sells Snickers cake, which is a delicious cake that's kind of based on a Snickers bar. Some varieties of the cake actually include pieces of Snickers bars.

It's decadent but not really heavy like some desserts.

When I was young, my family made strawberry shortcake - but using bisquet biscuts instead of cake - I absolutely loved it and still do... And, yes, I am also a big cheese cake fan...

Rabscuttle, mymother used to make strawberry shortcake using Bisquick biscuits when I was growing up. Sooooooooo good!

I'm not a big fan of cheesecake.

I LOVE creme brulee, carrot cake and really good ice cream.

I also love a good, rich creamy dark chocolate ice cream with a sprinkling of freshly grated parmesan chees eon top. Sounds weird, but really, really good!

I always have a box or two of brownie mix stashed in the kitchen. Sometimes I just have those days when everything goes wrong and all I want are brownies and pretzels.

Horrible I know but I can't help it.

My kids and I love apple pie for dessert so we try and find restaurants that serve it. It is becoming tougher to find these days. Doesn't anyone like apple pie anymore?

Oh that ought to be illegal! I can't imagine how I could resist eating it on a daily basis, once I got my first taste!

Can you have dessert with breakfast?
