Best Beach in Florida

What is your favorite beach in the whole state? and why? What beaches have you been to? Which beach did you visit on vacation as a child? What Florida Beaches make the best romantic getaways? Which ones are the most family friendly?

Daytona is the best party beach. Does anybody know anything about Key West? I wanna know whens the best time to go down there/

We've stayed in the Clearwater area a couple times, near Indian Shores.

I loved walking along the beach and collecting shells there, on the gulf side. The condo we stayed at was in walking distance of gift shops, restaurants and other stores.

It's a great vacation spot.

I think it depends on what you are looking for in a beach.
Hope that makes sense.
Daytona beach was amazing.
I think Destin was one of my favorites, its beauty was almost ethereal, I'd like to go back there.
Panama City beach was fun and I have friends who rave about the beach in Navarre is the absolute best.

I think I like beaches that have moments of stillness, that aren't so overcrowded that you can't enjoy the waves coming in and being lost in thought as you listen to the stillness.

Hey Max..We went many many years ago, and I must say, it really
was not a favorite for my family, but that is just my (our) opinion.
We usually preferred the quieter, more deserted beaches..Hard to
find those now!

Max, I have been to Key West many times. If you like Daytona, then you are going to love Key West. There is no better place to party. I think you should most likely considering going down there in January or February. I understand that Mardi Gras is one incredible event there. It even has it's own website. although I have never been there for it. I am usually in New Orleans then.
