San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf

I love taking Amtrak down to San Francisco to Fisherman's Wharf. We have to take an Amtrak bus from Emeryville,Ca to Fisherman's Wharf but it's only a 40 minute trip on the bus. Fisherman's Wharf offers a lot to do. It is popular for it's historic waterfront, spectacular food(especially seafood), sights, and shopping. You can take a tour of Alcatraz, Maritime Museum, Coit Towers, and my favorite the Cable Cars line you can ride on. There is BART which is a transit system that will take you anywhere you want to go in San Francisco or the bay area. There is also Pier 39 is the Festival Marketplace in San Francisco. You encounter playful sea lions, street performers, dining.

I went to San Francisco last October for the first time and I absolutely fell in ove with it.

However, i was not a big fan of Fisherman's Wharf. It was a littl e too touristy for my tastes.

I absolutely love San Francisco! Another place we also enjoy is Moterrey and it's cannery row.

I have only been to San Fransisco once. We ate at a restaurant right on Fisherman's wharf though. The food was great and the waiter was entertaining!

I have been there once but I had fever the next day and had to back.
