FT,

The Rose Bowl Flea Market is the most famous one and for good reason. It has more vendors than any California market. It is incredibly crowded and sometimes hard to deal with, but it is worth the trip and the time. I've gotten some great modern furniture there in the past few years.

The ones at Oceanside and Escondido are more like mexican bizarres then flea markets. I like Kolby's Swap Meet in San Diego, but a lot of "pros" there selling sometimes questionable merchandise. I have not found any of these to be a good source for antiques though.
