Default San Diego Wild Animal Park

This is one of the best places I have been to in San Diego. Personally I have been to the San Diego Zoo so many times I find it totally boring. The Wild Animal Park, though, is much more interesting anyways, as you can go on safari kind of thing, which is way better and closer to realistic than Disney World's Animal Kingdom (the only thing similar I know to compare it to). Plus the California Condor exhibit is interesting. It does have some zooish feel to it, but not at all like going to a regular zoo.

I have heard many good things about this from my friends who live in San Diego California. They told me the Wild Animal park is great. We have one here in Ohio, but nothing like the one in San Diego I hear.

I've always preferred the Zoo to the Animal Park - the park I always felt was kind of boring - not a lot to see and smallish. It has gotten a lot better in recent years though - and if you get a year Zoo pass, you can use it for both.

It may not have as much to see as the Zoo, but personally I find the zoo boring because you can go to a zoo in almost any city and being not big into going to zoos and preferring going to actual nature places I do not see any zoo as being really different than another. The Wild Animal Park is a whole different experience and a little more like going to see the animals in their natural habitats, although I still prefer going to places like a National Park. Personally, nowadays I never go to either when I am in San Diego and actually skip the whole city of San Diego if I can, as I just so tired of going there for family get togethers.

A friend of mine has told me about this. My boyfriend and I are taking his two daughters this summer. It costed us a total of $136.00 for the Best Value package which includes the Journey into Africa tour and the Conservation Carousel. There is a lot of activities, exhibits, and shows that you can do while you are there. They are open everyday of the year including all holidays.

It must be thrilling to be so close to the animals. Do you get a little handbook telling you what not to do?

You really do not get that close to that animals. They are either caged in the self guided area or you are riding in a vehicle (was a train when I did it, but I think they may have changed to vehicles) for the safari part.

u dont feel good in jail?

maybe all the prisons on earth should be restructured and converted into wild life centres instead of cages. would you be more comitted to crime then?

anyways, i would love to visit the San Diego wild animal park. maybe on my next trip to the west coast
