I have always felt that our area is one of the most beautiful areas in the entire nation, with our rolling hills, covered bridges, and old stone barns. A hot air balloon ride offers a unique way of seeing this beautiful land surrounding the Delaware River.

One of the largest ballooning festivals in the nation, The Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning, is held in our area every July in Readington, in Eastern Hunterdon County. The festival boasts hundreds of hot air balloons, concerts and more in a grand 3 day festival.

The company launches their balloons from two sites in Central Bucks County; in Lahaska, near Peddler's Village and in Richboro, near Quakertown. Rides are offered with a post-flight champagne party. On a Wings of Gold ride, you can see the skyline of Philadelphia and explore the charming towns along the Delaware River like you have never seen them before. After returning to the ground, riders are given a souvenir folder with a lapel pin, and a map indicating the path of the flight to commemorate the occassion.

Avian Adventures

Avian Adventures offers hot air balloon rides from 6 different launch sites around Clinton NJ, including one at a local winery and another at a local restaurant. On an Avian Adventure ride you can choose to soar to heights that will allow you to see the three states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York State, or fly low enough to see the local landscape up close and personal. The entire ride normally takes about 2 or 3 hours. Avian also provides such services as flight lessons, balloon tethers for private and corporate functions, balloon sales, and flying promotional banner advertising for local businesses.
