The ballroom at Longwood Gardens is one grand room. It was originally built in 1929 to house the gigantic pipe organ and to serve as a room to stage elegant dinners, concerts and lectures. The room features fabric paneled walls that hide the gigantic pipe organ along one wall, oversized chandeliers, floor to ceiling windows and doors, a parquet floor and our favorite feature the pink glass ceiling. The etched rose-colored glass as Longwood refers to it is made up of over 1000 panes of beautifully etched glass.




Most recently, the ballroom was used for an Easter Buffet on March 23 of 2008.
