It's that time of year again; time for the Extravaganza at Kutztown, April 24-26th, 2008. This annual antiques show is one of the largest ones in the entire region and marks the beginning of the antiquing season for many dealers, designers and collectors.

This year as always the festival will be held Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the fairgrounds behind Renningers Antiques & Farmers Market in Kutztown Pennsylvania. Since 1975 Renningers Antiques and Collectibles Extravaganza has been a meeting place for dealers and collectors from all over the world to buy and sell antiques to each other and to the general public. Many Exhibitors set up shop outdoors, under tents, and in the two gigantic 350 feet long pavilions. Other exhibitors will be set up inside at the permanent Antiques and Farmers Markets that are open year round.
If you are coming for the festival for the first time, or if you are an old pro at this game, you might want to get there early as the antique dealers who have permanent spaces inside the market will open their booths at 8:00 AM on Thursday morning. Many of these dealers and the ones that set up outside, save their best pieces for the Extravs, so you are bound to see some pieces that you don’t normally see every weekend at the flea market. The main outdoor antique show will open up at 10:00 AM.
