Rouget is a Provincial style restaurant and tea house located in the Newtown Shopping Center in Southern Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It is one of the newest French inspired restaurants in the area.

Rouget serves American and French cuisine. They serve breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. They are a popular BYOB restaurant. They do not serve dinner on Sunday and they are closed on Mondays.
The restaurant opened in 2007 in the former location of Tasteful Teas. According to some reports, the restaurant existed in another location under the name of Juliana Rose Cafe in Richboro. Rouget serves 4-course prix fixe dinners during the week for very good prices. Chef Brian Held is a CIA [Culinary Institute of America] graduate. The restaurant is named for the Rouget which is a red mullet fish or goatfish.

Update, we just found another review of Rouget, this one from Lifestyle Magazine out of Philadelphia. We can now tell you a bit more about his menu and his style of food. The menu features such items as Veal Served Three Ways, Provencal Fish Sticks, Wild Mushroom Soup and Bread Pudding. Read the full review here.
