Gotham has served us the best food that we have ever eaten in our lives. It is not just good, it is extraordinary, if not perfect.
This is not the place for your father or grandfather that likes to pinch pennies till they scream. This is not the place for anyone who does not know what creativity is or who does not have a sense of humor. For example, I am not a spendthrift, but I was astonished at their 40 dollar steak, and decided that I had to have it just to prove to myself that no entree could ever be that good. I was wrong, It was the most delicious steak that I had ever tasted.
The service, the wine, the atmosphere, the entire package at Gotham is something you will never forget. When you are in New York City and you want a very special meal, do not miss it.
