The pace of Frenchtown is slower than some of the better known and trendier getaway destinations in the area like New Hope and Lambertville. Frenchtown is laid back, more in tune with the lazy river that is its neighbor.
Staying in town you can take a walk or ride a bike down the towpath, rent a canoe or an innertube and explore the Delaware River, visit our fine restaurants and intimate cafes, or do some shopping in our unique boutiques, galleries and antique stores.
If you feel like doing some more shopping you can take a short drive. Frenchtown is close to everything. It is a short 30 minute drive or less to Lambertville, New Hope, Doylestown, Clinton, Flemington, Stockton or Lahaska.
Frenchtown NJ offers intimate romantic B + B lodging, and small hotel accommodations, in Hunterdon County, in Western New Jersey.

For a martini or a cocktail in town, you’ll have to visit the charming Frenchtown Inn just down the street. For lunch or dinner you can visit any of our fine restaurants or cafes in the area.
This 10 room historic hotel is located in the heart of Frenchtown New Jersey. This hotel built in the mid 1800's offers amenities like whirlpool tubs, high speed internet access, in-house restaurant and bar, king or queen sized beds, private porches with some rooms.
